After 5 days of building...its finally here. This thing was a pain train to build.
About this creation
This is one of those cars I've always wanted to build, and never could... After giving up on a previous version 2 or 3 years ago, I never gave it a 2nd thought. Until now, that is. I figured with all my spiffy yellow bricks the project would go reasonably smoothly. Then I saw how many opening compartments there were. It looks like a Transformer morphing into a robot. I can happily say I duplicated all of them...
The front turned out well, I think
The Side vents could be deeper, but I didn't have the parts or know-how to do so.
This thing Nomnomnomed up all my yellow bricks... I had to take the hood ornament off my Grifo to finish the darn thing!
The front hood scoop
The roof scoop
The back was surprisingly mild for a car topping 232 odd mph...
Trunk, doors, side panels, back panel, hood...
you name it, it opens.
The shiny gold lined BMW V-12
3 seats because 2 seats just couldn't cope with the epicness of a McLaren F1.(Or more passenger room, either way the owner wins.
You managed to make all the opening compartments open very well; I always seem to have trouble with that. Also, as you mentioned, nice work on the butterfly door hinging. I think that certain areas could be a bit cleaner, but of course this is a difficult car to build, and the overall shape is great! It is very recognizable, awesome car!
cool! do you think you can make instructions fpor the murcielago if you can and could you respond to the question i asked you? i would appreciate it. i would really be happy if you could make the instructions. tommorow is my birthday il be 14 and the lambo is my favorite car could you plz help me out
nice, but the side look too complicates and I think it should be a little longer other then that very nice work!I don't get why ppl say I build quickly, just look at your building speed and always some very clean models!
