Inception - Bridge Scene
Here's my entry for my MOC-Off against magma guy! The topic is 'Movie Scenes'. Enjoy! <> magma guy's Homepage
About this creation
Inspired by the movie 'Inception', this is the scene when a Ford Econoline van reverses off a bridge. This is not an exact replica of the scene, there are a few differences.

"We finish the job before the next kick."
"What next kick?"
"When the van hits the water...."

Front view. Inception is probably the best movie I have ever seen. By far.
(P.S.: The white wall below the van is not part of the bridge. It is there just to support the van and that part of the bridge. As the van is quite heavy.)

Side view. When I got into this MOC-Off, I had to choose the topic.

Rear view. Having seen Inception that day, I had to build a MOC inspired by the movie. In turn, the topic I chose was 'Movie Scenes'.

Other side view.

Top views.

Bottom level of the bridge. Barricades at the end prevent drivers from driving off the bridge. Still, a van managed to get past.....

An added chain, for more detail.

Through the shattered windscreen.

Some drain covers at the side of the road.

Rear of the van, reversing off the bridge.

The railings.

The support beams, if anyone is interested.

The Ford Econoline Van. My favorite part of the MOC, I will post this as a separate MOC as it is quite detailed.

Able to seat 8 passengers. Here are the 7 main characters.

A silver briefcase, contains the machine that places them into the dream together. A common sight in the movie.

Wires around the van. Connected to their arms, it allows them to go into the dream together.

Those who are faceless are the ones who are sleeping.

Now to the custom minifigs. Here you can see their faces. Left to Right: Ariadne, Cobb and Arthur.

Saito, Yusuf and Eames.

Fischer Jr. and his 'security'.

Using a snap shot of the scene in the movie, I am able to show you the part of the bridge I built. (I do not own this or anything related to the movie)

Fourth Wall Commentary:
This was a really fun MOC to make, especially the van and the minifigs! Hugely inspired by the movie Inception, I am planning to recreate many more scenes from the movie into LEGO, maybe in the next couple of weeks. I will also build this MOC(a better version) again in the near future. Due to a shortage of bricks, the bridge is not as detailed as I wanted it to be. Maybe next time I'll build the whole bridge. :)

Hope I win!
