Here is a custom 1979 Ford pickup, ready for anything you throw at it! Big tires, dual exhaust stacks, and a bull bar make it undeniably tough! I was inspired to build this after seeing a few custom F350s of similar style. I wanted to build a 350, but I only had one day to build this so the smaller version had to do. Either way, enjoy!
About this creation
Side view. The truck tends to lean side to side because of the little suspension bricks that are slightly too loose for the heavy truck.
Rear view. notice the little license plates. Official 2011 Nebraska plates with my name on them.
Working suspension in action! You can probably tell I love those suspension bricks because I use them a lot!
Engine. Ford turbo-diesel V8.
All open, doors, hood, tail gate.
It's fairly common for farmers to own trucks such as this. They are great tools for harvesting food and selling on street corners or in markets.
Hm, seems like I will replay all comments: the idea you used for the grill is stunning, and it's even better how it turned out in bricks. The working suspension is so simple, so obvious but also just brilliant! One of the best Pick-Ups around for sure - just pure functionality. Greetings go straight to the Great Plains, Ciao, Jens
