The Red Truck was built in June, 2010. The trailer was built this week. Enjoy!
About this creation
When the wipers are taken out, it allows the hood to be opened.
Under the hood, we have the engine. The engine may not be accurate to the what you find in real trucks.
The technique I used to allow the hood to be opened.
The interior. Here you see a control panel, the steering wheel and the gearstick(Is that what you call it?).
Behind the driver's seat is a small storage space. Here we have a map, the 2010 Trucker Of The Year Award, a walkie-talkie(to communicate with ohter truckers) and a chain.
The trailer. It can transport one small vehicle in front and two large sized vehicles.
Two VDI Combat Rovers and Mutt's motorbike are shown here.
A motorbike can fit in this small space...
As well as a VDI Anti-Aircraft Turret.
The first VDI Combat Rover.
The second VDI Combat Rover.
This part holds up the trailer whenever it is not hitched on to a truck.
It fits snuggly in between the truck and the trailer during a journey.
The really smooth trailer. Did I mention that the whole truck and the trailer is fully flat tiled?
The trailer looks futuristic, doesn't it? Notice the rear lights.
These things at the side are there to hold the vehicles in place during a journey.
A ramp to allow vehicles to be driven off.
And of course, Trucker Bob!
Trucker Bob: Howdy Y'all!
Trucker Bob with his beloved truck.
Fourth Wall Commentary:
The VDI Combat Rover's will be posted before I go on vacation on the 14th of December. I will build one more Combat Rover, probably in white/black or fully black. Maybe both. What do you think?
