A seasoned and powerful member of the Toa Vanembar, with elemental control over carbon, and, to a certain degree, life itself. ((This is a V2))
About this creation
Before we get onto Anything, here are some links to the original I made over a year ago and Lego Dude's Chillax. Chillax has a codpeice design I took to complete Kana's robed look.
Oh, and the torso design is similar to the one I used on my version of Juine, like I said it would be.
Brogas is also one of my favourite characters.
And now onto the MOC:
Name: Kana (Given the name Brogas by the Vortixx. It means "Witch".) (Director's Cut Music - Path to Precision)
Kana was originally a Ce-Matoran somewhere in the southern islands, one of a small enclave dedicated to The Weave (Korrothis isn't the only one). Carbon is an element which allows almost perfect control over life and death if used skillfully, and Reglas took a long time deciding who should be chosen. It would have had to be a Ce-Matoran - they have enough mental strength to handle it. Eventually, Kana proved to be able enough, and agreed to becoming the Toa of Carbon.
As a toa, Kana's life was hectic. She began as one of Reglas' closest servants, performing missions to preserve the Weave against those who disrupted it. One such mission brought her to Xia. The pollution created by Xia was destroying the elemental Air around it. It was a tough mission which resulted in Kana being labelled as a tyrant, a monstosity - and rightly. She had murdered Xia's industrial leader. She had broken the toa code and plunged Xia into chaos. She was marked as Brogas by the Vortixx from then on. It is their word for witch.
She fled into hiding in a remote part of the southern islands after it happened, and rejected herself. She took on the name Brogas as well, to keep reminding herself of her mistake.
She was found by Tallus after she had gone into hiding. The Toa of Hydrogen attacked her in a rage, wishing to destroy her for breaking The Code. Both almost died as both unleashed a nova blast onto the other. A matoran was caught in the crossfire. Much later on, Brogas learned that he had not died - but had become a toa of hydrocarbons, and was named Alkanus.
Reglas, however, would have none of it. Brogas was sent to Poliaz, as the island was seeking toa guardians at the time. It was close to Korrothis and Reglas could keep an eye on her to make sure this didn't repeat itself. She signed up and became a member of the Toa Vanembar.
With the new toa team, she found purpose once again. Dark and cryptic at the best of times, she nevertheless proved to be a brilliant member of the team. She became a very close friend of Orabmar and also Abarium, who shared her domain. Her powers allowed her to heal any biological injuries to the other members or to herself and she could maipulate electricity, create fire and conjure walls and structures made of diamond.
She fell overboard during a sea battle between the Toa Vanembar and a group of Skakdi pirates who were wanting to find the Piraka. The Pit's mutagen mutated her. She found a way into Karda-Nui not long afterwards, but she fell into the Swamp of Secrets from a great height, and was exposed to more mutagen. She went mad in the swamp until Xalos found her several years later. She was restored by the Elemental Lords.
Before she was refound, Reglas had created a new toa of carbon named Harleci. This toa had been sent on a mission to save another missing Elemental Toa - Aura, the toa of gold, but that's another story.
Some time later, on Spherus Magna, she was reunited with Orabmar, who had been raised from a spiritual state trapped within a rock back to life by Mata-Nui. The two had a daughter and named her Aza. She also met Alkanus for the first time.
Unlike most matoran during the Soulplague, Kana survived, as her soul had been bound to the element of Earth when she was restored, and not to Mata-Nui. She is currently a leading member of the Knights of Spherus Magna
So, there you go ^^
Kana was an attempt to create a character who is more samurai-like - hence the katana and the design, which is supposed to look like she's in a robe. In my storyline the southern islands are a bit influenced by oriental cultures.
Probably my favorite of your MOCs. Onto the main reason I'm posting this, I'm working on a makuta of bone and I need help with his powers. The reason I'm asking you is because I like what you're getting at with Xalos' powers, do you think you could give me a more detailed description/ideas?
You've definately achieved that samurai look, and this is probably my favourite of your MOCs according to the story, not the actual build. Very menacing, and the use of those huge skrall shoulder pieces on the legs looks pretty cool. :)

Genius! The robed samurai look is captured PERFECTLY. The story was good too. Great job! Just 1 question: where did you get the diamond blade? It looks familiar, but I haven't seen it in any sets.
