About this creation

L(08)S.T.A.R. (Logic 8 Subaquatic Terrain Autonomous Recovery).

Nicknamed the Big Red Lobster, due to it's colour and large claws, this prawn styled mecha is designed to operate on the ocean floor. It's claws are designed for carrying modular components for subaquatic base construction, but can also be used to crush existing structures and even other mechs. Though it operates with a single pilot, the design can be operated remotely via its huge radio antenna.

While few of these mechs have been seen in combat, their highly specialised nature makes them ideal for sabotage missions and are frequently employed by military as well as civilian groups.

The main weakness is that they are designed to make use of the buoyancy provided by salt water, out of water their upper body will cause them to topple forward and they struggle to support the weight of their own claws.

Interesting design. Definately looks like a crustacean.
