Sorry about the double post; I decided to make some last minute changes. Anyway, here it is; the Emerald Envoy!
I haven't had much experience building ships. This was my first real attempt at making one, and I'm pleased with the results. I did a little research on sailing ships, and I think it most closely resembles either a corvette or a sloop.
I don't possess any large hull pieces, so I had to build the hull from scratch. Next, I made several failed attempts to build a good-looking cabin and finally succeeded.
After that, I added the masts, rigging, and sails. Then I added the SNOT water.
Finally, I made some renovations to the bow of the ship and added the cannons.
The ship measures 13.5 inches (about 33 cm) long and ten inches (25 cm) tall.
Here are the cabin windows closed...
Usually, cannons were mounted on the sides of the ship. Sadly, I only have two, so I put them up front.
Here's the helm.
And the fancy cabin doors.
This will likely be my last moc until January, so happy holidays once again!
your ship looks great, especially for a first attempt, i m still mesmerized by the cabin s green part next to the doors, what kind of part is that? i ve never seen it before!
you re filled with great thoughts aren t you?
this looks real good!
I like it

Very nice ship! I wanted to comment on it, but you always post your creation 5 minuets before I go to school. The color scheme is excellent, but you could have put some furniture in the (presumably captain's) cabin. The cannons are nice, and I said before, the masts are great. A flag-holder and a ladder would make a nice logical way to get to the poop deck, plus a chance for the 'The-captain-will-open-the-door-and-get-hit-by-something-in-the-face' practical joke. The tiles are a nice touch; wherever you can, put tiles in such MOCs. These windows: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=60607 in pearl gold could have helped you.
