This is the two New York Central EMD E8's (with a lightning stripe livery). The 2 preserved units (one of some preserved NYC E8's), the NYC 4068 and 4080 (all built 1953) has lightning stripes. The 3 EMD E8's (4068, 4080 & 4085) are one of the only 9 NYC locomotives I like, along with the 2 ALCO RS3's (8223 & 8255), the 4-8-2 "Mohawks" (2933 & 3001), the GE U25B (2500) and the record-breaking 4-4-0 steam engine (999). Too bad the NYC locomotive preservation is epic fail because not so many are preserved, and all the famous 4-6-4 Hudsons and the 4-8-4 Niagaras are scrapped =P . I've been attempting to create this for a year after I created the PRR E8's, and it's finally here! =) Sorry for the poor design of the front sides. Please rate and comment.
