Rumoured 912 Stealth Fighter
Rumours persist of an experimental stealth fighter operated by the space fleet
About this creation

"I'm telling you, it's a ship"

"It's not a ship, it's a rock, if it were a ship it would show up on the scanners stupid"

"Well how many rocks do you know that change course"

"It must have collided with something, it's not a ship. Perhaps we ought to check the O2 mix in here"

"I'm telling you it's a stealth ship, that's why it doesn't show up on the scanner"

"Seriously, are you feeling alright? want me to get the doctor?"

"Look, it's changed course again, it'll fly right past us, then we'll see"...

" hey bridge, this is the hydroponics ring, did a fighter just buzz us?! "

That's an awesome vessel you seem to have here! Will/have build(t) in Legos? I like the way you used it!

Man, I Saw This, And Thought, Awesome With Awful Amounts Of Lag. Great Job On This, Great Scenes.

Thank you all for your comments. The big ship is the Discovery, which took about a week to create in LDD and is so large (20,000+ pieces, 200+ studs long) that it would take the program 5 minutes to move each section when I was assembling the final build. The bubble canopy on the 912 was a deliberate decision to clash with the angular hull as all my other creations, real and digital, tend to stick with the classic space wedge shape. I did also try moving it forward a stud, but I prefer the long nose you get with the current position. The colour scheme was inspired by Blacktron models I've seen on these pages - I don't actually own any Blacktron, it was the generation after I stopped collecting Lego in my youth. I appreciate there's some resistance here to LDD MOCs but I will add a few more as I take the view that the creativity has gone into them in the same way, just with an unlimited number of a narrower selection of bricks than in the real world.

I agree with my buddy David Calvet: too bad this isn't made in real bricks, because I don't usually comment on digital creations, but this had me notice and comment. That big ship is also quite impressive considering the amount of time it must have taken you to put together. Good job!

I'm a bit too impatient for the LDD and usually i wouldn't look for digital mocs, but this creation, man, is simply awesome!! i never thought there could be such nice pictures, you could make a little comic there! nice work!!!

It's a pity it's not made with real bricks, but it's very nicely done and funny.

It's Classic Space in style, with a healthy touch of A-Wing. The round canopy stands out with the slopes, but it's not too much.

I like what you've done with the LDD assortment here, cool tribute to the classic style (and maybe a bit of Blacktron II?). The only thing I'd do differently is move the canopy forward one peg (unless LDD won't allow it), but a great design otherwise! If Design By Me weren't so highly priced, I'd definitely buy this one.

It is a ship, and what a ship it is! Nice classic wedge shape with contemoprary colors and canopy and creative details. Cool little story as presentation as well. I usually don't go for digital creations, but this is undeniably sweet.
