After I had seen this awesome shirt I wanted to make such a walker for a long time. Recently I got some dk pink through PaB and Bricklink and was finally able to start. The AT-AT is a 100% custom, I don't own any of the sets.
Fun! Impressive that you did not have the AT-AT model to start with. Is this what happened after the fall of the Empire? Swords beaten into plowshares? There were some cases of disarmed tanks being used as farm tractors in Europe after WW2.
Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy
"He told me enough! He told me you killed him!" "No Luke, I AM that random guy who sold you ice cream on Hoth in that totally awesome tricked out AT-AT!" "Huh?" What a fabulous job you have done on this! Not only have you made a genius midi-scale AT-AT, but you've put it in a blender with a scoop of strawberry and a scoop of blueberry! Well done! Next I want to see the pizza delivery Star Destroyer!
Lol, it's a war machine terned into one of the most peacefull objects, I love it! Your AT-AT looks even better than the oficial LEGO one. I'm suprized you where able to find all of those light blue peices, even with Bricklink it must have cost a lot. Well done!
You made a great twist on the AT-AT... the shaping is actually really accurate, but then you've colored it up and added some icecream for a light-hearted, humorous approach. Congrats on getting blogged by The Brothers Brick!
