It's not quite finished yet (front end needs bodywork) but the specs are: front-mid engine V10 (quick release), 5+R transaxle gearbox (quick release), push rod suspension with ant-roll "bars", steering damper, swiveling doors, adjustable rear wing;
It's not built studless because I found I could build a stiffer chassis using studs which allows the suspension to actually work rather than the chassis torquing...

About this creation
It's a bit hard to see, but the yellow bit is a small pneumatic cylinder with no lines attached used as a steering damper.
The car can be changed into right hand drive by simply swopping the steering column to the right and changing the dash- the actual steering mechanism and the chassis is symmetrical.
Engine and gearbox removed from the car- a matter of seconds... the pit crew will love it ;)
Close up of the gearbox; it's basically the one that is used in LT 8448 but modified to be transaxle...
The axles proved to be the most challenging part: figuring out the right leverage, finding the proper spring rate, height etc. not to mention the anti roll bars- but I think this is a pretty good solution that really works! Also I build the axles as subframes (I'll upload photos of them later) which allowed me to make alterations to the main frame during the construction without having to dismantle the axles each time.

Freat car! Especially the doors, front suspension and overall lines/design. Nice Venturi tunnels and modular design at the the back as well.
Stiffness 'problem' of studless beams sounds familiar. I'm trying to solve this via a rigid exterior, and thus keeping a flex chassis, just to hold all other components 'glued' together.
