RMS-099 Rick Dias (Quattro use) (Zeta Gundam)
The Rick Dias was used by A.E.U.G. forces in the Gryps wars(Zeta Gundam). One of my favorite MS's from Zeta. I had a hard time with this, but I think the results are good.
About this creation

I think the clay bazooka still needs a little more work. Overall I'm very pleased with this MOC(even if it's just LDD :D) Hope you like it!

Quoting Alexander Pierson Sweet rendering of the Rick Dias! I find that it's a rather underrated grunt suit from the gryps conflict. Man, this design is solid, I wonder how it would look in the Sturm Dias variant (Neo Zeon's special variant)? Good work!
Thanks! Good to see some people who knows about these "less popular" MSs. I'm planning on updating my older designs so this will definately get a better, updated version.

Well, this is going to be a pretty big build. I've already built the feet, they are 15 studs long and 8 studs wide.

Quoting Marcus Jackson This is excellant, I was thinking of building the Mark II Gundam, do you have any tips for the hip armor, because I can never get it right.
It depends alot on the scale of the model, as you can see on my MOCs too, I use different ways of shaping depending on the scale. For a larger build I use the T-piece(it's better for detailed builds),but for smaller scale I use the hinge piece.

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix I'm loving all the accuracy and detail on these. You make it look easy to achieve the unique shapes of these mobile suits, though I know it is anything but easy, especially in LDD. In response to your message on my GX, yes they are large models, to be sure. They are only about 50% to scale with a minifig though. I wish I could go bigger but it requires a totally different type of building technique to achieve that. Look up "Lego Teknomeka" on google some time and you'll see what I mean. But getting back to what I was saying, those models are larger because of the difficulty of fitting minifigs inside. I don't know why I have to make everything fit a minifig. It is an interesting challenge that I always like to pose for myself. In any case, the Sinanju is definitely a spectacular model. I'm afraid that I would not do it justice, though. I think I would need to work my way up to it, because I've never tried a Zeon-type Mobile Suit before, and I can see that they come with their own set of building difficulties.
I know about Teknomeka, but it's too big for me...I like this scale better, they are like a 1/100 Gunpla model maybe a little bit bigger. Well about Zeon-type, I think the difficulity comes from the round shaped armor parts, it's very hard to get the right shape and not making it too big or too small (just like my Hizack head and shoulder, bit bigger than it should be xd). If you don't mind, I would borrow your frame for a little experimenting with Gundams, and maybe I'll try to make a Sinanju with it(your frame is very slick so it's perfect for that build):D I have tons of ideas right now, but can't decide what to make. Tell me wich grunt unit you wan't to see ,and I'll see what I can do :D
