I know it's not NnoVVember anymore, but while I was visiting Nnenn's Flickr page, I was inspired to make a Vic Viper of my own: "Blue Heron".
About this creation
This took me only a couple days to build (mind you these were school days, so about an hour a day) and overall, I'm pleased with how it turned out. This wasn't what I was expecting, but it's exACTLY what I wanted, I just didn't know it. For maybe the first time, I used a few decals, but every part of this is 100% Lego-ware.
The cockpit opens up very nicely, in most of my past spaceships, I've had a snap-on/off windshield, but this one's hinged!
Here's the creepy little devil of a driver. I'm not gonna bluff me way out, he WAS originally taller, but I mis-planned the size of the cockpit, and he wouldn't fit. But with short legs, it's perfect.
I made a stand for the Blue Heron too, just a little floating docking station.
The two guards.
A belly shot, I never care much to cover up the underside of plates on a MOC, it never matters too much to me, however un-aerodynamic it is.
And what would a Vic Viper be without a complimentary attempt at the classic Vic Viper angle?
Well, that's all I have for now, I've been trying to get some reasonable pictures all week so I could post this sooner, but I get back home too late, and the light is fading. So the weekend was my only opening.
I really hope you liked my Vic Viper, and thanks for taking the time to check it out.
This is awesome! If you want to make another one of these, make it pink and flowery and call the Vicky Viper! I was also wanting some professional feedback on this since Shadowgear has not as of yet.
