Every fighting force created consists of trained fighting personnel. These are the soldiers of the Sentai Province, working to drive the drones from their homes, protecting those that can not protect themselves.
About this creation
Colonel Keiken has been a member of the SPA since long before the Robot Rebellion and the Robot Wars. Though he doesn't often wear it, prefering the more traditional robes that most often see him wear, Keiken is still an active member of the SPA, and the current commander of the Experimental Operations Force, or Exo Force for short.
Lt Takai is a stern but able leader in the SPA. His squad has been cited for bravery and performance more than a few times, but he never laxes on his men. He is often known to prefer rifles to the sidearm that he was issued upon becoming an officer.
Kouki is one of the best snipers in the SPA. Many other squads have attempted to have him reassigned, but Takai has been most stubborn for this very efficient sniper. He's a loud mouth, and sometimes overly sure of himself, but he gets the job done.
Soka is the point man for the squad. Often strapped with more armor than the others can wear comfortably, and weilding his favorite shotgun, Soka has no fear of diving directly into a firefight for some point-blank scrap kicking. Off the battlefield, he tends to stay alert, but quiet, which is often opposite of his demeanor in the battlefield.
Neil was a member of the Urban Sector SPA before having himself transfered to a different squad. Being from the Urban Sector, he is a tactical genious when it comes to enclosed fighting, particularly urban environments. He is also ridiculously good with direction and acts as the navigation specialist for the squad. The others have often bet what the outcome of leaving Neil in the Urban Sectors sewers alone and how long it would take him to crawl out of the maze like tunnels. It didn't take him long at all.
Inato is tech specialist for the squad. He has an innate ability for working with equipment, and as such, he has been charged with the squad's comm/iff pack. This device allows Inato to punch through most drone jamming for direct communications, and has an integrated radar system for tracking the drone forces. Inato is also an extremely efficient hacker and can crack most computers, even drone memory banks, in less than a minute.
Jake is a soldier originally from the Industrial Sector SPA. His father was American Italian descent, and his mother was Japanese descent. He quickly traded his rifle for a medpak and scalpal. He's patched his squad together more times than he'd like, but he's done a very good job of it. Jake's sort of the old man of the outfit, reserved and quiet, but quick to put the others in their places if they step out of line. It's no wonder that Takai has placed him second in command.
Hayato is a real handful. He has a real knack for finding trouble and has a lack of respect for authority. Takai is almost always at his wit's end with Hayato, but whenever there's something crazy that needs to be done, he's your man. Hayato grew up in the lower section of the Urban Sector (slums), and was arrested for theft, upon which he was offered jail time or military duty. He thought the military duty would be fun and opted for it.
Ukukso is the squad's heavy weapons specialist. He carries a self designed drum fed rocket launcher, which carries six rockets capable of fending off the larger drones quite well. He is also the weapon maintenence specialist for the squad as well as the demolition expert. His favorite thing to say is "As long as I get to blow something up." He doesn't like Hayato very much, because Hayato likes to steal his detonator wires as a prank.
Harry is the odd one of the bunch. He always comes up with off the wall solutions to hopeless situations. Oddly enough, his favorite weapons isn't actaully a weapon. He carries an stero-alloy riot shield and knows how to use it. It at one time had been painted with blue trim, but years of use has stripped away the paint, leaving the stero-alloy sheen behind. The squad gave him the moniker "Crazy Harry" both because he is indeed a little crazy, and because they were watching an old episode of the Muppet Show and the name stuck.
Tabitha was a Gosan mechanic that got assigned to help the squad during a mission and she's been with them ever since. She can fix virtually anything, from a rusted bolt to repairing the Gosan that Hayato used to defeat a pair of Stalkers that had been hunting the squad. She's tough as nails and doesn't take any flak from the guys. She prefers not to use weapons, but if she has to, she can handle them quite well. Harry's got a crush on her, which she decides to tease him about.
These two civilian workers got caught in the crossfire and the male worker was wounded. Jake is currently administering medical treatment.
A closer look at the comm array and power generator. These were a real trick to come up with, but I'm very pleased.
A closer look at the stretcher with the attached infusion gauntlet.
These guys were fun and I'm glad to finally finish them.
Oh and a Cookie to anyone who finds all the hidden, or not so hidden, jokes in the bios.
Don't know about all of the hidden jokes but is Lt. Takai supposed to be a ripoff of George Takai from Star Trek? Also any team member who is based off of a muppet will always rank no. 1 in my book. I wouldn't be the man I am today if it weren't Henson's creations. Says a lot about me, doesn't it!
