First produced in 2079, the PM-104 is over 50 years old. This is mostly because it's cheap, durable, and easily mass-produced.
Weighing in at a hefty 75 tons, this model is armed with a 6-barreled, 76mm rotary cannon. It fires either High-Explosive or AFSDS rounds, and can fire at a rate of 600rpm. A 45mm grenade launcher and a laser designator module are also mounted on the arm.
Wide feet for good traction on various terrain.
Back shot. You can see the external fuel tank (gray) and the ammo feed tube.
For defense, this unit is armed with a plasma cutter sword on the left arm. The output can be adjusted to vary the length of the blade, and it can also be charged up and fired for a surprise punch.
The hand is suitable only for grasping, newer models have a more advanced manipulator that can use handheld weapons.
DISCLAIMER: You may have noticed that this model is painted. Most (ok, ALL) of my older models were made with all different color pieces, and they looked really bad. So i would paint them. Nowadays, i can afford to buy pieces that all go together, so you won't see this any more. I apologize if i offended any legoŽ purists!
I think that this is pretty cool. Very modern looking. I am actually glad to learn that it was painted. I was afraid that you had used Mega Blocks. So while I would rather not have painted it, great job on getting the paint to look good!
