F/A-1323 "Kestrel" Fighter
The F/A (Fighter/Aerial) 1323 "Kestrel" Fighter is a futuristic fighter plane from the 25th century, and does not use a conventional propulsion system. Instead of using liquid hydrogen as a fuel, it uses a fuel cell to generate strong oppositely-charged electromagnetic fields at the back to direct a stream of highly energetic hydrogen plasma out of the rear to propel it. Also the fighter uses a chaingun, an archaic weapon that still proves itself to be extremely useful at penetrating thick armour even 5 centuries into the future. Other weapons are 2 Micro-Missile launchers mounted on the wings, and a plasma cannon mounted on the top of the craft used for disruption of electrical systems and melting through very thick armour. Fitting with how it looks, the Kestrel is actually a very flimsy fighter, and are usually only deployed against weak targets, slow targets, or deployed in mass numbers so that they have some sort of tactical effectiveness, in which case they are mostly remotely-flown in order to minimise human casualties.
About this creation

The Kestrel fighter in a landed position

Underside showing off the Micro-Missile launchers, sensors and the chaingun

The thruster at the rear of the vehicle, which fires highly energetic compressed hydrogen plasma for propulsion, as well as utilising antigravity technology to negate the effects of gravity on the vehicle

The very cheery pilot :)

During flight, an enemy was spotted and the pilot opened fire with the chaingun

Dead enemy soldier...stupid to go wandering around on his own, so he kind of got what he deserved :D

The pilot kicks the dead soldier in the teeth as celebration. It's a bit of an overreaction, but this pilot hasn't scored any kills for a long time, so killing a single pretty defenceless enemy trooper is reason enough for him landing and kicking the man's body in the face

The pilot steals the dead soldier's pulse rifle, for you know, just in case he's incompetent enough to get shot down, he has a weapon to fall back on :P
