FINALLY! Part One is up, and Part Two will be up later this week. Enjoy!
About this creation
"Move Along"- All American Rejects
The BARON, or Aridike, as he was originally known, was an Archivist in the Onu-Metru Archives and a robotic engineer as a hobby, automating his house, amongst other things. He worked as one of the original developers of the Vahki, along with Nuparu, except his designs were smaller, more invasive, existing within each household, and meant to stop trouble where it began.
The day his life changed was the day of the Great Archives Fire. Presumably, an escaped Fire Entity, in the middle of transport to the Archives, escaped and severely burned nearly half of the Archives. The fire was so severe, it split several floors in two, killing hundreds.
It was in this disaster that Aridike faced a serious accident. A large boulder fell upon his left arm, crushing it. He was forced to wear a robotic prosthetic of his own design. He went largely insane at this, having lost a great friend to the fire, as well.
The only thing that kept him from insanity at that point was creating a better prosthetic, as his first kept falling apart. He spent many years at work with his robotic arm, until an intervention by a few concerned neighbors complaining about the noise of his work.
He turned to the hobby of glass blowing, an art taught to him by a friendly Ta-Matoran whom he never learned the name of. He eventually came to the invention of Protoglass, a combination of glass and protosteel that has the properties of being light-weight and extremely strong. It is this that he made his next series of prosthetics out of, finally mentally stabilizing him.
Unfortunately, in order to fund the making of his prosthetics, he inadvertently became involved with gang trouble. A particularly radical gang, the Black Sun, went as far as to hunt him down for his prosthetic arm as payment. That was their final mistake, as Aridike fought back with his freshly made PG-02 arm, that came complete with a switch-blade.
He killed the group sent after him, and soon the upper hierarchy of the entire gang. After a few death threats to the grunts, he became the new leader of the group. The new BARON, that is.
I am SO glad that this is up now. I've been writing this story for the past...9 months? Yeah, sounds about right. Of course, this is only part 1 of 6 so far, and technically, I may not post part 6, but rather...well, you'll see. :D
Oh, and guys; please don't ask if your self-MOC can be in the story or suggest something to happen. Any edits are welcome, but the story is all on me, and I like it how it is. I'm just saying. Anywho...
Hope you like it! Part Two will be up soon! Rate N' Comment Please!

EPIC work Baron :D I love what your doing here, can't wait for more, I don't know if you read it but Baron will now be in Chapter 8 so you have less time to wait ;)
Nice! I'm lookning forward to it! Oh, and one last tidbit on the BARON's role (sorry if I'm being a bit picky with him XD); you may want to read up on some of the posts in the Isle of Thorns group (http://mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=11368&topicid=49847, scroll WAY down for some of the most recent stuff) to see how he talks and acts. He's a bit snarkey, but in a suave and charismatic way (but gets very violent and angry, at times), and very fluid in his motion. But really, you don't know how excited I am!! Thanks ever so much!! :D
