Valentines Day at the Dojo
An entry to the Be My Brickentine Contest, organized by Klementina Kos. Welcome to... The Dojo-
About this creation
Hello All! Its my entry to the Be My Brickentine Constest
I'm terrible at writing love stories. Just terrible. So I decided to turn this from a love story, to a love/action story. My kinda MOC. I think this is one of my best... but of course, I'd love to know what you think
PLEASE NOTE: This MOC is in no way historically accurate. I know that ninja's were basically peasants who fought against samurai. No need to tell me, ok? And I know that women didn't fight. Think 'Mulan' Ok?

THE BACKSTORY (Who actually cares about these things anyway?)
Aiko is the daughter of the Shogun Daisake, a powerful force in Feudal Japan. He is known to be ruthless and clever. Against her father’s wishes, Aiko trained as a ninja, giving up the Honorable path of a samurai. One one of her father's campaigns, Aiko met a lowly Ninja footsoldier. Hayato was his name, and they soon fell in love. Both were around 18 years of age. Enraged that his daughter would want to marry a simple Ninja from an insignificant village, Daisake attempted to kill Hayato; he had planned that his daughter marry a prominent samurai from an important family He sent an entire platoon of samurai to butcher him, around 50 men. Although a lowly ninja, Hayato was skilled. He had trained under the Monkey Ninja Master Clyde, and knew the secrets of the ancient art of whacking swords at other people. He won, and fled into the countryside. Daisake sent legions of men trying to track this single man down, but to no avail.

Meanwhile, Aiko openly defied her father. She sabotaged the supply trains. She poisoned the officers’ food. She didn't eat her veggies. Furious, Daisake fruitlessly tried to control his daughter. Finally, when Aiko was found to have given battle plans to the enemy, it was the last straw. Daisake threatened to kill her, but she spit at his feet defiantly. After hours of threats and cursing, they finally came to an agreement. She wouldn’t be killed, but she would be imprisoned in a special Dojo until her father forgave her. Additionally, any samurai that came to challenge her, she would have to face in a practice bout. If she won, the samurai would leave and never bother her again. If she lost, the samurai would marry her. Daisake vowed that she would have to go through all the samurai in Japan before he’d let her out. Aiko vowed she would beat them all.
And so it was.
While all this was going on, Hayato was busy running from thousands of samurai. However, a few months later, he heard of it. He decided to go and rescue Aiko, and go on the run. With no particular plan in mind, he found the location of the Dojo, and headed in that direction
Daisake heard of Hayato’s quest. He gathered a force of Samurai, Ninja’s, and criminals to guard the dojo. This MOC illustrates that moment in time, it which it seems like everything hangs in the balance. For Hayato and Aiko, it does.

Hayato looks at the challenge that awaits him. Daisuke himself, and 2 of his best samurai. Of course, each of them faced Aiko and lost…

Aiko lives in the top. Every day, she looks down on the flowers, knowing she might never be able to go and walk among them

Hayato weighs his chances against a sword like that. He supposes he could handle it…

Daisuke and the Samurai patiently wait for Hayato to attack.

A side shot. This shows one of my favorite parts of the MOC, the flags.

Aiko fights yet another challenger. He is not the fastest, or the cleverest, or the strongest. She has already beaten them.

More shots of the fight. Notice the room.

A samurai, A ninja, and a criminal all wait patiently in the entrance chamber to kill this upstart Ninja.

Looks like one of the criminals Daisuke hired was a drunk. Figures.

Another shot of the fight.

Finally, after all the challenges are done, Aiko goes up and waits for her love, Hayato. Notice the stand in the corner.

She looks out, anxiously.

The roof. My favorite part of this MOC

Finally, the battle has started. Hayato charges the men in the entrance chamber after scaring Daisuke and his “brave” samurai away.

Thanks to the organizer of this contest, great job guys (or girls). I had a lot of fun building this, so thanks for making me come up with something good... : )
Anyway, there was a lot of great entries, I have no doubt the best of them will win. Good luck fellow contestants, and see ya next time

Quoting Master Shifu Leo J Wonderfully built dojo! Will Aiko and Hayato finally unite?
Haha, actually I'm planning a comic (yes, an ACTUAL comic with speech bubbles and stuff) involving that. Well, several years after, but I digress.

Excellent! I really like the idea of this moc. P.S. If I were Hayato I'd pretend to be a samurai and beat her =P.
