Spyrius Classified Report:
Blacktron Base-HB009 - We have the utmost privilege of seeing a HB (Hangar Base) in operation. This particular HB was situated on Ares of the MirrorTwin solar system. Whereas our Mars is cold and has an unbreathable atmosphere, this counterpart is warm and hospitable to Legolife. You could see the base is quite busy. We can only observe from a distance because of the constant overflights of an Interceptor wing. Those fighters can give you a very unfriendly reception. Ask my CO, after he gets out of ICU.
About this creation
Back view of the HB. It's two-story high, with an inner platform that goes in almost in a circle inside the base. It has four service bays that can service four crafts/vehicles simultaneously. All vehicles were out on a routine sweep around the effective perimeter of the base.
Three-quarters back-view. See the three sets of gantries in the background.
A closer look at the runways. Quite roomy and can park an entire wing of Interceptors and four ZS-01s (ZipScout-01).
This is a routine ZS training for new pilots.
The antenna nests on all four corners of the base are not apparent upon first view.
Top view. B.E. SOPs in constructing any base requires them to cover a minimal six lectares of terrain. Two for the base and four for the runways. In time, these bases will expand or contract, depending upon the need of the assigned personnel. We just arrived in time to see one in full swing.
The front of the base. This base is relatively new which is why it has no doors. They only install one if the planet is hostile to Legolife, has inclement, extreme weather and during conflicts. Ares is still new in most charts, so the apparent "lax" of the personnel (they are in for a surprise!).
The nearest shot of the base's interior we could manage without being caught. Those gantry towers have a dual purpose: it sends out a jamming signal to any spying gear, rendering it nil or almost useless.
