A surprise development, the long defunct EuroDyne group re-emerged as a viable military producer late in the 2nd Alien War. They took their almost two hundred year old Euro Syetems Fighter blue prints and came up with the Mk-3.

Well, like you told me earlier, you've hit a home run with this one (or does a baseball cliche even make sense at this point)! First off I will build another fighter for you and GAIA at some point. Second, I have decided to torment myself again by joining the 2011 MocAthalon. Currently my group "The Leftovers" (cute name huh?) consists of myself and Sean Flynn. We need 5 members and can have one more AFOL as per the rules. So I was wondering if you consider being part of our motley bunch. If you don't have the time or care for this type of contest I fully understand. Officially the contest is in sign-up phase and hasn't started yet. Let me know what you think.

Certainly one of your best fighters mate. The shapes really work throughout - love the integration of those looooong black slopes into the engine intakes. Of course it's presented really well too - I've become used to seeing starfield backdrops but yours are always tight and interesting with engine flares and the heat effect in the overhead shot too. Good job.
Thanks mate. Yeh, I figure why let down a cool build with poor pres. Man, those long pieces were just made for air intakes if you ask me. I wonder why I haven't seen them much used as such? Cheers for the words of wisdom mate... |

Absolutely mate! If you enlarge the overhead pic, you'll see the hinging I have used. The landing gears retract also, and there is a bomb door underneath, and an engine boot style arrangement at the rear. I may get a chance to take some photos of these features sometime. Cheers for looking! |

hehe, such flattery... Well thanxs my good LEGO friend, I am very happy to hear such a thing. Parrington, that thing is a sleek, deadly, heavily armed, heavily armored, and super-fast, neo-retro BEAST! Sometimes, as was said in the movie called "Meet the Robinsons," it doesn't matter if you fail; all that matters is that you keep moving forward. Apparently, the people from that company that came back from being essentially dead took that message to heart and had a comeback story for the ages of space craft aviation. Perhaps this surprise will lead them to make even better space craft, hovertanks, and such in the future, too? Anyway, if there is a MOC of the Day award on MOC Pages, then your MOC build would definitely be a winner, sir. You deserve it, Parrington. This is your best MOC build ever! |
