based on chibi style un-manned control experiments by sugegasa
About this creation
updated version of the lizzie 2 frame
This is Tania (originally called Fay, but I changed it, and also uploaded on LEGO.com under the name Bette which I'm now using as the general name for this frame), named after Titania, queen of the fairies in "A midsummer night's dream". Tania is inspired directly by the designs of sugegasa. I've placed her with the CyberAgents as she shares many joint and limb design elements.
Tania is a customised "B.E.T.T.E." unit, or more formally known as Bio-mechanical Extra Terrestrial Tactical Enforcement. All BETTE (Pronounced Betty) look like little girls, a quirk of their designer.
Unlike sugegasa's designs I've added extra hinges at the shoulder and hip to give her slightly more posing ability, which increases the over-all height and gives her slightly less chibi proportions. Her head is inspired by the look of many of sugegasa's.
The weapon is a plasma wand, which can project a lightning bolt like blast.
She's also equipped with a pair of wings (based on those of my Archangel CyberAgent models).
Created in Lego Digital Designer (Version 4) using the creator theme, colours edited in the universe theme.
for anyone uploading this model please note, the weapon is attached to the hand using a headlight brick. You will need to group the weapons pieces to remove them without dismantle them.
she has joints at the neck, shoulder, biceps, waist, hip, knee, ankle, wrist and each finger. due to the way the hand is formed she has limited posing on the fingers. Her waist can rotate horizontally 360 degrees but cannot bend forward or back. Due to her "hair" her neck has limited movement vertically but can turn. Both wings can be extended out or folded up.
her feet have been made bigger and she now has a proper heel on her shoes.
The basic design is based on a fairy or angel off the top of a christmas tree.
I've been looking at those cute little mecha for years wondering "how the heck did he do that?" finally figured out most of the basics.
mines a tad more girly with all that pink than yours. Never thought I'd ever make use of that colour...
