A.C.T.N. Scout Ship
Welcome to the Allied Colonies of Terra Novus
About this creation
In the future a new planet with characteristics extremely similar to Earth is discovered. No alien life has been discovered on this planet except for it's population of a variety of simple creatures that bear similarities to Earth's animals. Several large shuttles of people and supplies have been sent to this planet, christened Terra Novus, to colonize it. The colonists quickly built up several small colonies and outposts on the planet and began to explore the large planet, locating it's resources and mapping it's surface. Just as the colonists were beginning to establish a successful community, however, Earth demanded that the colonists send them regular shipments of minerals and other valuable resources. The people did not appreciate this because mining and shipping would take large amounts of time from their expansion work, so they decided to try to negotiate with Earth. Earth responded by restating their demands and tightening their grip on the colonists' affairs. Unwilling to become subservient to the desires of Earth's leaders, the people of Terra Novus declared themselves as an independent planet and nation (the A.C.T.N.) and prepared for the possible war of defending themselves against Earth.

Now that you have a small backstory for the A.C.T.N. (which is very loose and just there to get my thoughts down). Here are the pictures of an A.C.T.N. Scout Ship.

This small ship is used to scout the surface of Terra Novus and report any possible discoveries.

It is made to be fast and manueverable: just in case it encounters any dangers.

It lacks any weapon systems at this time because there has been no need for them, but a couple small cannons can easily be installed if necessary.

The twin engines swivel for an easy landing.

Plenty of room inside for the pilot.

I'd really like to keep building within this green and bley color scheme and the (extemely loose) backstory was written to help focus my ideas for it. Writing this type of description just isn't my thing, though, so pardon any bad wording or generalities.

It's a nice design - reminds me a bit of the movie 2001.
