This story is completely fictional, well except for half of the characters.
About this creation
In the contest we could either build a vignette of people laughing at you for liking LEGO, or a mech to bully the bullies. I went with a fictional story that included a few settings(Vignette portion), a mech(Sneak peek at a new Domo), and a few friends and an enemy in the real world potrayed as minifigures.
It's a new semester in High School, and there's a schedule change for people with semester long classes(This class turned out to be a class were we weren't supposed to have desks XD). Since the teacher doesn't know who we are, we must bring in something that has meaning to us or defines who we are.
The teacher brought in maps because he likes to go on adventures.
Josh went camping and was the best archer in the group over the break so he brought arrows.
Jaylynn loves to shop, so she brought in money.
Danny brought a basketball because he thinks he's athletic.
This kid brought in a skull because he thinks he's a B.A.
The list of students got shorter, we were left with the last two people.
A kid with a ship wheel. I pictured him as a kid who didn't care about how he looked and wanted to be a pirate for some reason.
The B.A. kid with a skull.
Jaylynn with $100. This is based on a real person.
Josh with his backpack and arrows. If I had a baseball bat, I would have given it to him because he likes baseball, and he is actually a nice person, he wouldn't bully me. OAW YEAH!
Megan with here backpack and cat. Megan wouldn't bully me either, she'd mess around, but not in a serious way.
Smile, I gots braces.
Danny with his backpack, a basket ball and the Lego. He is actually my enemy at school, so it makes sense to make him the main bully. Bite Me!
Hey, it's me with my backpack, Sand Catameran, goggles, wrench, remote, and the head of Insectoids Domo.
Remember, this is absolutely fictional except for the named characters. And I used some editting to make me look sad because LEGO never released a face with a frown with that visor thing.
Bullying needs to stop, help prevent it. If you're a LEGO fan and are afraid to tell people you are, don't worry about it. Try to make it sound like you aren't always going to talk about LEGO when you open your mouth to speak, you obviously have other interests, too. Stand up for yourself if your being bullied for a hobby that isn't shared by everyone else. Nobody has the right to bother you about a hobby that you enjoy, no matter how ridiculous it may sound to others.
EDIT: Wow, this is EXCITING! I won the contest, and mine was the one to get the least amount of likes, ironic somewhat. Anyway, this is also the first contest I've ever won on MOCpages, so I feel like I accomplished something. Just wanted to brag a bit, but don't take it as an, "In your face" thing, as I know I'm not the best builder here.
And remember, I would love any comments and ratings.
I'm going to be a high school senior this year. I keep my LEGO fandom a secret at school because I know that if I didn't, I would be teased a lot. I'm already known as a big Star Wars fan anyway. It's sad that us TFOLs get teased for being who we are but we just have to get through it.
