I promised it weeks ago, and finally I had the time to take photos of him. Here he is, Cheesy Q!
About this creation
UPDATE: Cheesy Q (also known as Nowhereman) left MOCpages for reasons I don't know about. Since he also deleted his profile, all of his MOCs are gone as well.
Given that I always appreciated Nowhereman's building style (he managed to incorporate regular LEGO bricks into his MOCs for some clever designs) I'm very sad to learn that he left. The fact that I have no other way to contact him makes that even worse.
If anyone out there knows what he's doing nowadays, I'd appreciate it if you let me know it.
Just so you know, I didn't changed the description following except for removing a defunct link.
If you already know the original version of Cheesy Q you'll probably notice that he uses the custom body made by Cheesy Q as well (thanks for the instructions, by the way).
To build Cheesy Q, I disassembled the Goon of the Fire Team (which is not a tragic loss, since I never really liked him anyway).
Like the V2, Cheesy Q fights with a sword and a shield gun.
I went with the rifle piece instead of a launcher in reference to the rifle of the original Cheesy Q.
The sword. Unfortunately I don't have a yellow sword, so I had to settle with the black Kopaka Sword (at least, it got some yellow parts).
Originally I hadn't intended to give Cheesy two shields. When I start to build his arms (he was almost done back then), one of the Keetorange Mata Nui hands cracked, and I used this as an excuse to buy another Evo to get a pair of Evo-hands. Then I also put the second shield on his left arm and... well, it looks awesome, so I kept it that way.
The legs, which greatly differs from the original mostly because I wanted to try this design out.
The holder of the sword. I placed it on his left hip to balance his equipment a bit out, since the gun is already attached to his right arm.
The Jet Pack, which is definitely not as awesome as the original's one (because it has no flames). Aside from that, I think it looks pretty cool.
Size comparison to ZORK.
(I'd first wanted to make a "High Five!"-pic, but that didn't work so well)
Fighting against the Centaur Monster!
"Not so fast!"
"Ha! Piece of cake!"
And that's it. I'm really happy how he turned out, and I hope you like him, Cheesy Q!
