Luke's Landspeeder
i MEANT to post this about 2 weeks ago but i never got a chance. i have been busy all this week also but i got an hour to do this. i own the actual set but i never liked it when i looked over it and compared it to the movie. the thing that bothered me the most was the engines, they were the wrong size and the wrong color also. the only way i could think of doing what was right was to build the engines with bricks. inside each engine is either a 1 by 1 brick with 4 side studs OR a 1 by 2 special brick with studs on one pair of opposite sides. well. the piece is the crane hook on the Lego set Home One whatever it was called. i have about 3 of them so i used what i had. but another error was the front. it is more of a grill than tubes. and another error was the colors and patterns, which i embedded into the vehicle. also an error which i COULD NOT fix was the canopy. in the movie, it is larger and taller and is more of a dome. lego doesnt make anything like that adn i could not build it out of bricks. i mostly rebuilt the entire thing, leaving some pieces and replacing most of them. the engines arent perfect but i will live with them for now. so thank you for listening and enjoy the pictures

and new accesories for Luke and Obi Wan. Luke's has the accurate color but Obi Wan's is supposed to be dark brown but ehh what can you do if you dont have the right materials.

Nice. I like your new version of an old classic set. this is much nicer than the newest land speeder made by TLG.

Nice, I like how you used tiles facing horizontally for the front and engines.
