Loading the Subjugator at Staging Area V. Imagine a world of complete industrial flatness, where gigantic vehicles battle for supremacy. Cities cower in canyons and fissures...
This actually started out as a minifig-scale F1 racer that was going to be covered in gunzzz for post-apoc goodyness but somehow, after seeing Angus McKie's sci-fi art again, it turned into a huge microscale monstrosity. Other influences were of course Crimso's awesome Zorg vehicles and Pierre E. Fiesche's excellent and highly-detailed microscale mocs, both old mocpages builders I might add!
Hopefully I managed to straddle the line between the large and small here. I wanted something recognisable only built on a gigantic scale.
On Crimso's advice I tried to make a small tank to be unloading, in aid of making the microscale look more convincing, but I couldn't come up with a design I both liked and that was small enough.
Launching a tactical nuclear missile. Originally the missiles were going to be lined up under the rear spoiler, but they hid the engines too much there.
The thumbnail had Other Shannon written all over it, and sure enough, it was some more Aussomeness. Great work on this microscale. Ever since "Never Mind the Aliens!" I've been looking forward to seeing more microscale from you.
