Been away visiting various members of my family dotted around the country, but I'm back and ready to RRRRRRUMBLE.
I chose the Lloyd's Building in London to castlefy. It's not very widely known, but I think it's a cool building.
The building is sometimes referred to as "the Inside-Out Building" and that's mostly what I was going for with this: an inside-out castle. I did try to capture the likeness, but it's a bit of a hard building to get your head around what's going on. This aspect gives the best representation of what I was going for with this build. (Just ignore the more well known "Gherkin" in the background)
There were more surrounding towers, but it looked too cluttered, so I only kept in the ones you see now.
Porcelain (or should that be wooden - youch, splinters!) throne.
This guys just happy to be there.
The moat... where you'd expect the moat on an inside-out building to be: the inside.
The King of Londontownshire shows his displeasement with the finished building. (The guy on the right is the architect, the world just wasn't ready for his design)
