Okay, so the unfortunate combination of drained batteries, lots of schoolwork and other stuff like bad lighting conditions made me taking photos and building really difficult. As such, I only now managed to take some photos just so it doesn't turn out that I didn't do anything this entire contest.
I'd like to thank my dad for helping me with these last minute photos.
This category was about making a myth in LEGO, so I decided to do the myth about Talos, a copper titan who was made by Zeus. He threw large stones at any ships that came close. I think he's supposed to have wings, but I wasn't sure..
He was supposed to protect Europa, and then she gave him to Minos, the king of Crete.. Eventualy he got killed by Daedalus, who threw him off the Acropolis. Poor guy. Not somebody I'd like to be.
I remember watching the old "Jason and the Argonauts" movie, and they had this giant, stop-motion Talos fighting Jason and his men. The way they defeated him was Jason pulled a plug out of his ankle and his lava-insides came out; he then fell down and cracked up! Your creation reminds me of that scene! Great work!
