Here it is! And it only took about about a year of waiting!!! Here is the corporate district of Cheeztropolis!
About this creation
It's finally here!!! Here is the corporate district of Cheeztropolis.
We'll start off at Cheeztropolis train station. At this time, you can see two fancy, high speed trains approaching the terminal from the tracks that run right through the middle of the district.
Next is Cheeztropolis power inc. It manages the power produced from the dam along cheddar river, and is completely powered by the huge propellor on the front of the building, which comes awfully close to the wall. It scares the heck out of newbies.
This is the cheddar bay bridge, the ominous looking bridge with girders that look a whole lot like teeth. Due to how low the bridge is along the water, it will ocasionally clip the mast of a passing sailboat.
The large square building is Cheeztropolis school of architecture. The students are constantly pestered by the skyscrapers next to the university, but most graduates of the university eventually end up designing those buildings themselves anyway.
The gigantic building right on the coast is gargantuar condos & co. it is currently the tallest building in the entire city, and it boasts 26 luxury floors, with a 3 floor penthouse on top. The building is so huge, it takes most people 10 minutes to walk around the perimeter of the building.
Along the coast, you can see Bob's bait and boat shack on the left, and their oversized beach umbrellas on the right. The shack also sells smoothies, but they haven't sold one since someone was put into a coma from one of their "mystery" smoothies. The mystery ingredient was revealed at court.
In the center of the photo, under the monorail track, you can see penny pincher laundromat. The owners spend their days supergluing quarters to the floor, and watching their customers try to pick them up.
In this shot, you can see the length of the monorail track. In the center of it, you can see the only existing monorail station at the moment, which lets off at 2nd avenue. It goes on to run along the rim of the dam on cheddar river.
This is Cheeztropolis hydroelectric plant. It supplies the city with 40% of its power. The dam creates a large whitewater current below it, and it annually hosts a competition to kayak to where the pumps let out the water. Once the first place finisher exits the water, he is awarded $1000, and then they pump up the current so the losers are swept out to sea. Most people generally try to win.
This next building is megopolis offices limited. If you want to find your classic, jacket and tie business man, you would find him taking the extremely slow, underfunded elevators to the top floor.
The arch shaped building is the palace hotel, with its chipping paint, and outrageous rates, it is a fine example of city life in Cheeztropolis.
The rectangular white building is the local super ultra mega mart, with great deals every day of the week. However, no one really knows what they are, because the noise from the train tracks and the monorail track always drown out the loudspeaker.
This tall, art deco style building is the headquarters of the famous toy store, OAF Schmutz. The head of marketing was fired after creating the name, but they were too lazy to think of anything else.
The red building is The Craft Barn, where you can find anything from ceramics to clay in a snap. However, try not to go too fast, because their rule is you break it, you buy it, the glue to fix it, and the mop, broom, and dustpan to clean the floor.
Next is Cheeztropolis city hall, with its immaculate statue of the city's mascot, the giant bullfrog. Amazing, isn't it?
Along the beach is the kiddie park, with a pond, a tree, and some grass. A kid's paradise.
This is the second tallest structure in the district. The Cloudscraper Observation center has always been a great attraction to the city. However, once the visitors are in the observation center, they are warned not to lean, well really, at all. The thing wasn't very well designed, and we no one wants the building to lean.
This is the command center for the Cheeztropolis hydroelectric dam. It is equally as topheavy as it is creepy.
Finally, the last building is the Mace apartment building. Only the richest of the rich live here. Probably because it is the farthest place from the center of the district. It really dosen't matter though, because almost all properties in the corporate district are right next to either a train track, a bridge, a dam, or some other public building project.
And this concludes our first adventure into Cheeztropolis. Hope you enjoyed the *slow* ride.
Nice write-up (that I didn't read), need to get an actual camera (albeit being an improvement), need to get some light blue for the coastline like I said before, need some islands or boats in the vast stretch of ocean. That's about it.
