this is by far the best thing i have ever made. i started building on the 22nd of february 2011 and after nearly 3 mounths of changing walls, stairs, floors, consoles, roundels and anything alse you can think of i have finally finished. at first it wasnt accurate what so ever and i have had to watch series 5 tardis scenes over and over to get it as accurate as possible. i can even fit a tardis exterior like in the red nose day special episode.
enjoy and comment!
and look out for the crack...
hi guys. Let me introduce; I'm Vincent, one of the rare french people absolutely facinated by the world of Doctor who, and the tardis constructions, like yours. About that, all my congratulations. Any way, my question is : i've ever done many constructions, like a little blue box or a dalek ship. But since many month i'm thinking about a bigger project : a all tardis building in lego, exactly like the one here, but in bigger. But i don't have any plan, any instructions like the exactly number of pieces and the exactly kind of pieces. I was searching for a web site in order to find a paper instructions; i found many web sites where i can buy lego pieces, but nothing about which pieces i have exactly to buy to construct my own tardis. And no more about the instructions for the construction. I've bought the Caracter Building one, the yellow interior console of controle. Maybe you have ever seen this one? If someone of you could help me, it would be very great. This project is very important for me. And the main problem is that in France, there are no shop about that, and so little people are interessed by the Doctor who creations. So, I apologize english poeple for making me discover a such beautifull universe! Please, help a french friend who is facinated by your work. Waiting for reading your advices; thanks from France.
Generally good and right on but was there not more of a pit thing under the control console? I thought I saw the Doctor hanging underneath it in a swing attaching wires and cables toward the end of the "Doctor's Wife" episode...
Congratulations, Tyler, on this fantastic MOC. The level of detail you put into this is amazing. In the last few weeks I've had closer looks at the new console room myself (for reasons you can imagine) and therefore I am deeply impressed with your creation. I'm not a fan of the "Character Builder" figs, but as I can see, you also used customised minifigs, so all is good, hahaha. You rose to the challenge of building something complicated with many curves and angles and did a brilliant job.
