Unit Battle Cards will now represent a unit in battle rather than the profile card. The introduction of digits- based stat values means that very large values can be represented without having to extend the card.
About this creation
-The 5 different stat symbols mimic those on the Unit Profile card. The sword is attack, the crossbow is range, the helm is health, the legs are movement speed, and the flower is Command Resource. CR should still be colored a different color than your other stats, just like on the Profile Card.
-The lower left region is open for unit abilities. These will be described in detail in their own post.
-The small square to the lower left just below the unit's class abbreviation is the Color Reference Box, it's use is described in more detail in the Battlegroup Sheet/Combat Demo post.
-The area just to the left of that is where victory pins are placed, which are the gold circle plates as seen above.
-Just like Unit Profile Cards, Unit Battle Cards can be customized as well. Here is my Liger Tankís Battle Card as an example.
-The region to the right of the stat values is left open so that stat changes can be shown. If a unit is dead, the stat modifier to the right of health stat will say ďDeadĒ. That should make it simple for everyone to know whatís dead and what isnít. If the unit is only damaged, the stat modifier should read Ď- ní in transparent red, where 'n' is the number of points of damage the unit has taken. If a stat has an increase, it should read Ď+ ní in transparent green.
-Unit Battle cards as well as profile cards should be created for your units, but Battle cards are the only ones that will be used in combat. As stated on the Profile Card post, they will merely be used as a reference to show where stat points have been allocated to. The Battle card represents the final value of that stat after all of the different inflations have been applied. For example, 1 point applied to range is equal to 4 studs of range, and the number shown on the Battle Card is the amount of studs your unitís range goes out to.
Now go make some battle cards for your units and get ready to fight!
