this was the first thing i have built from photos instead of step by step instructions. it took me a while to figure out the structure underneath the hood. thank you so much for sharing these great designs!
I finally had the time to rebuild this MOC last night.
First of all let me confirm: it looks as 'unimogish' in real life as on the pictures. :)
There were some solutions which I did not notice on the images and amazed me: the way the dashboard connects to the front part, below the windscreen; the construction of the front grill and the parts above the front wheels; - but my favourite one is the construction of the windscreen frames on the sides, which also holds the backview mirrors.
I sure like this model. And you sure have a way with the parts in this set. You've come up with a great variety of vehicle types using these pieces. I especially like the front wheel wells in this design as well as the incorporation of the piece used for the rear window. Will we be seeing any more alternatives from this set or will you be visiting the store and buying some new pieces?
Another cracking alternative! Being a tree surgeon this would be my ultimate vehicle! My friend has a green one with a chipper attatched to the back. Everybody gets out of the way when they se it coming. How many more can you make? I'd like to see a Land Rover or a G-Wagon ;)
