When you're in charge of the waterways of southern Indiana, you need a shallow draft craft that gets you there in a hurry.
About this creation
The River Cat is a high-speed assault boat designed to carry a four-man militia squad into action up and down the often shallow waterways of the Hoosier state. Capable of cruising at over 35 knots through water as shallow as a foot deep thanks to dual-drive technology, the River Cat is also at home flying across the deep waters of the Ohio River for raids on enemy bases in Kentucky.
This was originally going to be part of an entry in the Alloy Strike contest, but then I remembered I no longer take part in contests. I may eventually create the story, but I'm going to spend some time working on Space Pirates first. Enjoy anyway!
Commander Pirce. Sorry to hear "a boat" your contest policy. Your skill as a builder will be sorely missed in the lineup. I like your boat. How would it look if you made a "hole" in the water. this would let the boat sit lower in the water (not on top of the water) and you can slide the boat around in the hole, so it looks like it's banking in a turn or sitting lower in the back. It's a cheap trick that allows you to capture a very dynamic feeling. Oh, and I dig the engine on this thing. No room for the hounds? Attack!
Picking up on what Rutherford said, you shoulda had a dog being dragged behind the boat(not really cause that would be mean... but funny). Anytime you want to attack kentucky let me know. FRIED CHICKEN RAID!... they can keep their women though, and both of their collective teeth. ~ Chris.
Watercraft are the way to go! It's a slick-looking ride and pretty menacing. A nice way to move a squad around rivers I bet. Great build! The Ohio Garrison sends its regards to its brethren in the Hoosier state!
