About this creation
"A (knarr) is a type of Norse merchant ship famously used by the Vikings from the 9th century ... Also known as knaar, knorr, or knörr ... The knaar was primarily used to transport trading goods like walrus ivory, wool, timber, wheat, furs and pelts, armour, slaves, honey, and weapons. It was also used to supply food, drink, and weapons and armour to warriors and traders along their journeys across the Baltic, the Mediterranean and other seas. Knaarer routinely crossed the North Atlantic carrying livestock and stores to Norse settlements in Iceland and Greenland as well as trading goods to trading posts in the British Isles, Continental Europe and possibly the Middle East." - From Wikipedia

Ok this is a little more advanced than an actual Knarr due to Cargo section. But it was difficult to create a simple looking MOC that didn't look half completed. I was aiming for a result that was both simple and effective in design. You can't have Vikings running about in Pirate ships can you? But neither can it be too simple as to be boring.

You may notice our Viking friends have chosen more sensible and *cough* accurate headware on today's excursion. No opera tonight.

Hope you like ;)

Ale! No viking expedition is complete unless someone brings a keg. You have to respect these guys ;)

More Ale? More likely it is stuff to trade

A knarr is a merchant ship because it is lighter. A dakar is a light fighting and raiding ship. There is another type whose name means "dragon" but i can't remember it's name. It is a heavy fighting ship.
