After I built my remote control, I decided to expand on that idea. So here I have an end table with various everyday items on it, a book, a cellphone, a drink, etc. This was a lot of fun to build. The table measures 62 studs long by 50 studs wide, not sure of the height. I designed each item independently, then merged them all into one set. The toughest part was setting all the items on the table. There are 1101 pieces and it really slowed my LDD down. I adjusted the angles on some of the goodies so everything wasn't at right angles. Gives it a little more realism. I have closeups of the items so you can check them out. I hope to add more detail to the table itself, like some detailing in the woodwork, and maybe a drawer underneath. I'd also like to put some more things on the table. Any ideas?
cellphone, eraser, pen, and pencil
an ice cold drink with a bendy straw on a coaster
a car key, loose change, a wallet with cash inside, and a house key on top
At first glance, the commonness of the scene makes you think it isn't that impressive, but when you consider all the unnoticed details, it really is a fantastic MOC.

Excellent. You even move the objects in slanted positions... no one else does that besides me and you. I noticed that the pencil has a very similar design to mine O.O but that's nice to know actually. It's a good design. Very nice, I hate it when my LDD slows down when I add a bunch of pieces.
