About this creation
01
«Hm… Hello there, kind sir. You look lost. Can I help you, in exchange for a coin? I may be only eight, but I know this town perfectly. »
«Thank ye’, kind sir! Please follow me. »
02
«Outside the city walls lie the Bluemage houses. It is actually great to have them around: they are wise and strong in battle. »
«They can help our town quite a bit against magic enemies, who defeat the guards easily. »
03
«Behind is where the Sheppard keeps the farm animals. They provide us with milk, eggs and sometimes meat. »
04
«These are the main gates, facing North. Every day you can see people coming and going. »
«Visitors and goods from around the continent enter mainly through here, but there is another gate, as we’ll see. »
05
«It looks like this miner is arriving with rare metals. Is that iron, silver and gold in his chest? »
06
«Do come in, please. »
07
«Next to the main gates is the marketplace. During the day it is busiest part of town. »
«Everyone can come to buy goods. »
08
«Right now they’re selling two types of fish, chicken, carrots, strawberries, oranges, apples, blueberries, cucumber, cheese, flowers, bread toasts and beverages. »
09
«In front of the market is the farmers’ house. »
«They don’t have much money but they sure can keep a nice and clean front. »
10
«Following the main street, to the left, next to market, lies the Alchemist’s store. Inside you can buy potions, ingredients, elixirs, tools and other things. »
«There are always wizards and witches coming and going here. »
11
«Right across the street we have the Blacksmith’s. You’ll know you’re near if you can hear the hammer beating the iron. »
«People can get customized weapons and armor there, and can also deliver rare materials and ask to make new items (for a price, of course). »
12
«In the back is the weapons shop. Lots of deadly items are sold there, whether you’re a blade or a blunt type of fighter: Swords, spears, axes, flails, morning stars, poles, and also bows, daggers, armors, helmets, shields, and other things are for sale. »
13
«Ahead in the main street are the horse stables. »
«You can feed and clean your ‘travelling partner’ there, and let it rest while you go take care of your business or have a quiet drink. »
14
«Speaking of drink, we’re at the pub. Apart from the market during daylight, this is the most frequented part of town, especially at night. »
«You can always hear the cheering and singing and clapping of the clients who had too much beer or wine. »
15
«Some of these buildings are also living houses on the top floor. »
«By the way, I live above the pub. »
16
«The main street leads to the chapel. »
«The bell tower can be seen from far away behind the city walls and it is a symbol of our town to visitors. »
17
«The bishop administers the Sermon thrice a day, except when there are other religious ceremonies scheduled, like weddings, baptizes, funerals, title-awarding events, and others. »
18
«One of the most important places in town is the well. »
«Everyone can get fresh clean water from it with a bucket. »
19
«Here’s the East gate. It is mostly kept closed, since it is so close to the castle. »
«Mainly, it’s used by the army and the town guards, but it can be used by everyone in emergency situations. »
20
«You’ll notice there are three jails around town, where the guards keep the thieves, but I heard there are dungeons beneath the castle, where the prisoners of war are taken. »
21
«Here it is: the castle, where the King and Queen live. The palace guards and the town guards don’t have the same uniforms. »
«I’m sorry but I’m not allowed inside. And neither are you, I guess. »
22
«Look, that’s the Queen and her aids. »
«She must be going to the marketplace. »
23
«I can hear horses behind the wall running this way. »
«Lucky you, it is time for the weekly army assemble. »
24
«Our Lord likes to inspect the troops personally and make sure there are no flaws in the town’s security forces. »
25
«Yup, they’re in top shape. Magnificent, aren’t they? The people can sleep soundly at night. »
26
«Now… hm… do you think I can have that coin you promised? Did I deserve it? Five coins?! Oh my, thank ye’, kind sir! I’ll consider becoming the city guide. »
Awesome city. I wish I had the time and the money to build the capital city from the novels I'm writing to scale, but I will upload pics of some scaled-down versions. Great moc.
Mh, just restarted to rewrite my Legonia project. For names, maybe Regulus,Denebola or Algieba, that are stars in the constellation lion, why not naming citties of Leonidas that way? And of course, Kalm city. But can you say me where the king's home is? Or will Kalm city be just a medieval city without palace?
The farmers house is great, the other houses too. But try to build your own minifigs, gates, walls and castles. Don't use so much colored Bricks, use gray, black, brown, etc. It would look much better. But everything together is just GREAT!
This looks like such fun to play with! I prefer models that are still a bit playable, as LEGO intended, and this is very much in the style of the official sets. Great job, 5 stars
Está muito engraçado, mesmo! Montes de pormenores e tudo! Mesmo bem :-)
Agora tenho de por algo em inglês senão deletam o comment:
It's very funny! 5/5!
You are very generous with your comments, Pedro, and I thank you. I highly encourage you to continue with these projects (and you probably don't need any encouragement ;^} ), because your patience and eye for detail are very obvious. Wonderful work and a treat to look at.
I love the village! When I looked at the minifig behind the queen, I thought that minifig was holding a chicken, which then I realised that it was actually a hair brush... Any way great creation!

Very impressive pictures. Whish i would have as much of houses as you.A question: Could you give the city a name, then i would add it to my Legonia world as official place in the kingdom of Leonidas.
Thanks Christian! Two things:
1) As group admin., I would like you to baptize the village, I've seen you're great with names for places, plus you're the author of the book of Legonia. Plz post here and I'll change it.
2) The «village» has grown so much (like 2.5 times) it's now more of a «city», but still a work in progress. I'll post some pics of the new model soon so you can get an idea.
