Standard M3 Personnel Carriers converted to Multiple Gun Motor Carriages by removing rear seats and installing a Maxson M45 mount (more specifically the M45F, which featured folding "bat wing" gun shields on both sides of the mount over the machine guns). These vehicles are easily identified by the lack of the folding armored hull panels found on purpose-built M16s.
About this creation
Front. I made a M3 Half-track awhile ago.
Left. It was taken apart. I needed pieces for a bigger project.
Back. So making it again was kinda pointless. But then I said, "I can add a AA gun to it!" And so it was reborn.
Right. I think it could function as a Anti infantry gun very easily.
Just the empty half-track with no attachments, sad.
The treads, and before you say that the treads are to loose, please note that they can't be any tighter.
The steering wheel.
It has doors! The soldiers demanded it, or they were going to sue me.
Just add a MG and you have a troop carrier!
The Anti-Aircraft gun.
The cockpit, I guess.
Just add one mortar and...
... And you have the mortar variant! I don't know what it is called though.
There even is a German variant! At least according to the movie "Patton"...
