This is my latest technique for opening canopies that keep a nice sleek look to the exterior. Don't worry, the crazy colours are just there to make easy to see. The yellow represents the minimum distance to allow it to work, as well as the baseplate. I recomend going one plate height lower than the yellow tile, but that is the maximum functional height.
