Treb is my first attempt at a Trebuchet. I made it after watching a show on PBS about some of the first trebuchets. It took me about 4-5 hours to make. Overall it is an success, I wish Treb would throw things farther but for a quick project its good. It is built to throw small yellow Lego nerf balls. The max distance seems to be around 15ft. I might build a new version later, if I do I hope to reach 50ft. Its a big goal but I think its possible.

This was mainly just for fun. I was interested in how trebuchetes work so I thought building my own would be the best way to learn about them. If you go here: Treb you can view larger pictures of this invention, just click on the sliding pictures on the page.
