this epic imitation is a whopper, firing two different types of ammo bricks or bands, very long but very real its awesome!, please comment
About this creation
this awesome gun is huge, nearly 41" long and firing another 10 metres! The gun can fire six bricks in six shots or it can fire twelve elastic bands in twelve shots. the accuracy is insane I can still hit a domino just two metres shy of its max range!, whats makes such a special gun is its semi automatic action, one trigger pull equals one shot, the only reload is the magazine 6 or 12 shots later. I tried making the gun look as realistic as possible, though it was modelled entirely out of my memory of the gun so I understand corrections in scale and detail are probably required, so please dont comment on that. the M1 garand is a 30 cal rifle used by the US military in vietnam or some other war( please correct me if im wrong!), please comment and rate!, DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY READ THIS!

these photo's are a comment reply. the small brick is held onto the beam with an axil through it by the RB's tension, when the trigger is pulled the L shaped blue thing turns clockwise about 65 degrees, allowing the beam to go up a bit (it then lies flat) then when the trigger is released the par flicks forward because to the RB tension, the brick and band can now slide off the beam and the brick shoots, there is no barrel as such. This same process happens on every trigger pull shooting a single shot.

I really like the idea for the machanism and how it shoots bricks, I may have to try that.
It was mainly used in WW2 and the Korean war and to some extent, the Vietnam war (although by then the US had M16's. And yes I do read the captions :)

Nice! But it was used in WWII, Korean War, and very little in Vietnam. I like that it shoots, but I think it would look better if the stock and foregrip were brown. Also, the grip between the stock and reciever needs some work. Other than those minor issues, GREAT! 4.4/5! |
