Biomimicry Glider
Futuristic Glider.
About this creation
An aeroplane that uses flapping wings, simulating birdflight. My original design had the wings placed behind the cookpit, but I tried the wings in front of the pilot and preferred that. The idea is the plane would take off from it's landing platform or "perch" fly up into some thermals and glide around.

The barrels either side of the pilot are radomes (or something..)

Plan view. I like the split down each wing.

   Pilot access. "Contact!"

   Cruising mode.

   Cool angle.

   Accelerating mode.

Diving mode. The wing click-hinges are set one notch up.

Reminds me of those cliff divers in Spain(?) when the leap off the edge and extend their arms out and up in the dive.

   Gliding mode.

   Landed safely again.

I really like how you got that thing that looks like an arm to be so nasty and grotesque... oh, that's you... sorry. Later ~ Chris.
