About this creation
I built this LONNNNGGG time ago but decided to post this. here comes the backstory....

From the diary of Collin Horif of Waco, Texas

June 24, 1887
Gold was discovered in ol' Skellers mine today, a load of gold enough to make you and all your friends' families wealthy for life. it was discovered by Howard Sturth, he tried to keep it a secret but the other miners found out. we will see what's to come.

June 27, 1887
Big controversy over the gold, The executives of the mine say that the worker who found the gold, Howard Sturth, will get a small sum of it. But unfortunetly Howard was discovered dead this morning twelve feet from the gold. nobody will confess who done it. but i got the feeling this isn't the end.

July 1st, 1887
strange things have been happening, a out-of-control mine cart hit a worker today. they say it was a freak accident. but we aren't so sure. some say it was to keep him quite. but even stranger things have been happening.

July 3, 1887
most of us are gone, we have fled for our lives. me and a few other workers don't believe the tales, the ones about workers falling straight into hell, or that the mine is a pathway straight to the hot place. we only believe what we see. and what we see is an empty mine. but nonetheless we keep working.

July 5, 1887
trapped! a landslide buried me and the other miners here in shaft 8 we hope that we will be able to escape. but we can hear screaming from the other side, the darkness closes in. and our lamps our almost out. i am afraid that this is my final fair well.

Dear journal,
I found this journal in the abandoned mine a few miles from my house when I entered there on a dare, I can not afford my own journal like this so I will write in this one, my friends say that the mine is haunted, I think thats rubbish, and just last week my friends tried to play a prank on me, when I was taking out the trash I heard some screaming coming from the direction of the mine, I went there and the entrance was glowing red, my friends, of course, will not admit to the prank, as it will get them in some serious trouble with the authorities, but still I can't help but wonder, after reading this journal, if the mine has some mystery behind it.
