This is an assult rifle I made using 40 year old LEGOs from my grandmaís house. It has removable clip.
About this creation
Disclamer: The LEGOís may not be 40 years old, my dadís not sure when he and his siblings got them so I could be off by 2 years up or down. (as of 6/12/2011)
This gun took several hours to build (maybe 3) and was actually kind of challenging. A few of the pieces were warped and the rest didnít fit together as well as modern LEGOs do. I did spend some time a week after building this modifying it to make the stock go down further because it was too high before and went above my shoulder. I also tried to make a working bolt but I wasnít able to do it using only antique LEGOs (actually I did make one it just fell apart every other time so I took it out again). The main reason I made this was because a friend of mine wants to do a gun battle video, like the ones Freddy Wong (freddiew) does on YouTube, but using LEGO guns and he needed another gun. I made it with the LEGOs my dad had as a kid because: 1. I thought it would be cool to use old school bricks 2. I didn't have the parts in my own colection to build it.
The removable clip:
This is before LEGO made inverse slopes so I had to improvise; I think my method is ingenious!
Please donít pester me about the gun being red and white, I wanted to make it black but there wasnít even a single black part in the whole box!
