This Classic Space display was put together by Daz Hoo and Sklar for the "Nuit blanche" event held at the McCord Museum of Canadian History as part of a QuéLUG show.
About this creation
Here are the pictures of a Classic Space display I putted together along with a fellow QuéLUGger, Matthew Sklar, for the "Nuit blanche" event held on February 26, 2011, at the McCord Museum of Canadian History.
Obviously, some of the models in there are original LEGO models while others are my own creations. The ships, most of the vehicles and the small buildings are mine. The biggest structure is the very unique creation of Matthew.
Special thanks go to Marc-André Bourassa from QuéLUG for letting me use his photos of my display, since my camera broke down that day, and most of my pictures were unusable.

What a cool display! I hope that someday I'll be able to display some of my stuff. I was going to go to Brickcon this year, but too many technicalities got in the way.
You don't necessarily have to go to a con to display some of your stuff. All you need to do is to find an occasion to do so. For example, I personally contacted the event organizer of the Montreal ToyCon and ask if we (our LUG) could put up a display at his next event (free of charge), and he said yes. After that, I used our participation at the ToyCon to promote what we could do to other event organizers, and the ball just took off on its own after that.
