Here you guys go. I know it's been over a year since I started this but, unfortunately my education is quite good and my friends quite entertaining so I haven't had much time for LEGO :'(
But anyway, I got fed up with it and rushed the pictures out and here it is...
Helm's Deep!
About this creation
Why, hello there. Here is what you probably haven't been waiting for but hopefully will find worth your time. Helm's Deep!
This has been sitting on my table alllll year, really ticking me off. I was planning to raise the whole base of the keep so as to make the ramp from the lower level to the higher level less steep, but I decided just to... not.
Enjoy.
And please excuse any bird seed, feathers, or poop... I took care of the girlfriend's parakeets while she was out of town and they are really, really, REALLY messy. I tried my best to clean it up.
Now... you may enjoy. If you want.
Oh, and I know some of the pictures are really blurry. I'm just sick of this stupid model...
OKAY. Now enjoy!

Well, here is where I've sorted out the majority of the LEGOs that I've acquired within the last 12 months. Fun.

The main attraction.

The not-so-main attraction: the Deeping Wall.

The causeway, I rather like this.

Hm. I seem to have lost my door.

AERIAL!

The inner keep. I don't like this part.
Sucks.
The Hornburg. I am really happy with this, if you forget the transition from angled pieces to bricks. :P

The horny thingies. :)

The back of the model. Not much to see, except a big block of rock and a couple arches.

This rampy thingy that I was gonna remodel, but decided not too because I don't like it anymore.
:P

The curve of the inner keep. Pretty okay if you ask me!

The curve of the outer keep! Much nicer.

Block o' rock?

The back of the dye-oh rama. Someone said it's spelled "diorama" but that's lame.

Cavern one of the glittering caves. Fun fact: This is my favorite part of the model.

Cavern two of the glittering caves. Plenty of glitter.

Here you can see how the two caverns are connected.

The waterfall!!

The rocky edge of the... inlet? thingy that the Deeping Wall encloses.

Stairs!

Where the Deeping Wall extends from the keep.

A door. Cool.

A very lame and empty armory.

The inside of the inner keep.

Fun, no orcs.

Sure, this wall is ugly. But I'm gonna be tearing it down anyway so... too bad. :)

Looking back at the inner keep. Fun stuff!

The thing the deeping wall encloses is called the deeping coomb. This looks great, and I hope to see more! |
