Engine One is a 2006 Pierce Dash II custom engine.
About this creation
Engine One has a 1,500gpm Waterous pump fed from a 1,000 gallon tank.
Two speedlays are mounted under the midmount pump panel. Each has a 200’ 1 ¾ inch handline with combination nozzle.
A 150’ bumper line is also included. 1,000’ of 5 inch hose is carried above the tank.
A Hurst cutter spreader Jaws of Life unit is powered by an onboard hydraulic system.
Engine One is Platesmouth's frontline pumper and is out showing its presence in the local community. Sedately driving by, they notice a cat is up a tree, but the cat seems content and not in need of assistance. Then they notice the fire...
Notice that all compartments do open. Included in them is a SCBA rig for the driver, spare oxygen bottles, extra nozzles, and axe. Externally mounted are two hydrant wrenches.
In the back, under a metal cover to protect the hose from the elements is the 5" LDH and 400 feet of 2 1/2", and the extraction tools. Also mounted are two scene lights.
On this side we have a shovel, a fire extinguisher, ladder, short pike pole, a hydrant wrench, and traffic cones.
From the top you get a better view of the hosebed.
Up front we have the engineer, the officer, and two packed up fire fighters. Easily accessable to them are radios and the thermal imager. Behind the cab, one gets a clear view of the mid mounted pump control panel. Under the control panel are the crosslays.
This is great. 8 wide is a great scale to work with. This has great functionality and looks very proportionate. I like how much stuff you've managed to cram in and the cab where 4 minifigs can sit comfortably. This looks like a lot of fun to play with. Top work, Mate.
