Quoting Commander Wolf this is a perfect speeder. big engine,nice color scheme, and a cool looking pilot as well. but why use the republic sign?
I can see what you mean, it was the only 2x2 round plate (no studs) I could find, unless it should have been a black one with a Radioactivity sign on, so I thought this was the best. Hope this answered your question.

Sorry, I though I commented on this. Very nice speeder. I love how the pilot uniform fits with the speeder and speeder's name.
