This was made for David Wang's contest, Lightcycle building Challenge. I had my entry done on time but didn't upload it :P. I'm quite proud of the end result, finding a way to add a minifig into a reasonably accurate lightcycle. And what suprised me even more was how mine did not require a minifig for the bike to stay in shape, and the minifig is easily removable (just pull his hands off the handles and pull him out).
Showing that the bike doesn't require the fig to stay together. This is sort of purist, as it uses Lego rubberbands, and no non-lego products.
Ok, even though this is late, I'll judge it anyways, you just don't get the 5 free points for getting it in on time. Accuracy: 4/5 Parts Usage: Very creative use of "Telephones"!! 4.5/5 Presentation: Creative use of clear 1X2 bricks for the floor! 4.5/5. How well a standard minifig fits in the cockpit: He looks pretty snug.. 5/5! Total: 18/20- 5 for being late: 13/20!! Nice work!
