Old school awesomeness. I like that water main break. All the construction equipment looks great. I also like the old car. Excellent work!

Glorious and Nostalgic Lego ! You are a lego builder of similar Ilk, or at least I used to be, now I`m just a collector of lego Knights, and I`ve had a jolly good effort of Castle. I sold all my Technical Lego on ebay a while ago, except for the tech. bricks, always useful. Anyway, your stuff is super and takes me back to my childhood and the magic of building vehicles with the period technical bricks & pieces and Lego Villages of mini figure scale. Long may your rather skilful lego building continue !>.....well done to you Nick.
Oh, this is so retro!
I love the usage of all these vintage parts, especially the "not so mini figures" and the old System and Technic wheels. I recognized the excavator instantaneously, as last week I had looked after some of my old LEGO stuff I still have in the basement, and had found some old intruction books, including 8888 and 8889. Some of the models in that books are still cool.
I love this creation - so many great details. It was nice seeing some of them 'in the brick' at the show. Stormbringer - Noooo! good luck stealthy nick ;). I've got Leda kat - do you remember me saying (at the show) that I bet I will be matched up with her. Oh well at least I got to R3. Hope your flu has gone? I've come down with man flu too. Tom and i will hopefully post the Swindon moc on the weekend :).
Hahaha monkey trumpets!!. Great work nick I love the scaffolding, wheelbarrow and the water spray. I love it all!! I don't have 8888 but do have 8889, those old idea books were so cool and an excellent way to improve your skills.
Brilliance!! Such a great scene - I love the story and the mix of MOCs and old sets. I have a lot of the pieces to some of the sets in this, as well as their instructions and idea books, but they are from well before my time so I've never had them built (I was given a big 'ol bucket of early 80s Technic when I was little, so whilst I recognize all these sets I never got to experience them first time round). Anyway, excellent subject matter, great MOC(ish), 10/10 : )
This is just... so... old school! I love all your vintage lego technic designs, because it remembers me of the good ol' times (not that these times aren't good). The portaloo accident is especially hilarious. Nice work!
