RSV Light Gunship T-237
Russian Space Vessel
About this creation
The Russians took a somewhat different approach to building their military fleet. Initially, these vessels were used by the former Soviets as a means of transporting cargo and people between the Earth, the Moon, and Mars. However, when a 'Poisson' Scout vessel (French fleet) was attacked and destroyed by Blacktron fighters in 2072, the Russians needed a combat capable fleet. Granted, they already had a few destroyers armed with Russian weaponry, but their numbers were too little. Their approach was to have a fleet comprised mainly of light vessels and a few capital ships as opposed to about equal numbers of capital ships and light vessels.
More than half of the T-237 fleet was converted into battle capable ships, and it was a worthwhile move, on the scale of things.

Armament: 2 Medium Plasma cannons
1 Russian Disintigrex(TM) Particle turret
Shields: Military Grade 2
Armour: 2-inch Titanium Carbide
Speed: 250 kmh when launched from a carrier
~17,500 kmh when launched from ground
Warp speed: N/A
Other: 4 crew

The power for the vessel comes from 2 externally mounted Fusion reactors, which isn't the most ideal location for a power source to be placed, but was the only available location.

The Russian Disintigrex(TM) Particle cannon utilises relatively underpowered particle beam technology, but increases the power output by as much as 300% due to the use of a vodka-derived substance (Russians...).

The reason for such a high speed resulting from a ground based launch is that these vessels require the assistance of an SRB, or Solid Rocket Booster that is mounted on the underside hull and jettisons just like on the Space Shuttle (I'm still very sad that those marvellous ships have been retired).

Here is a standard cre-- Where is the crew?! And why are there Stormies instead?!?!

End notes:
Just a little ship to accompany the others. Do whatever you want, be it commenting, rating, or turning a blind eye to this.
